About Scott Mario
… is no stranger to a construction site. His father was a general contractor and, starting as a young boy, Scott used to go to work with him on the regular. Being around the trucks and the large equipment, seeing his father work hands on and build a project from the ground up, ignited a passion in him for construction. He learned early on that he wanted to have an attachment to that somehow in his adult life.
After high school, Scott attended Wentworth Institute of Technology to study Architectural Engineering. Initially thinking that he would end up working on the design side of jobs, even though he had a true vision for it, Scott learned that what he really enjoyed was working with his hands. Even though his trade is now that of a general contractor, Scott feels as though his experience in design is one more strength that he brings to the table.
Now, with over twenty years of experience, Scott Mario looks to be the go-to contractor for clients that have challenging projects. He and his team immerse themselves into jobs, sometimes becoming part of the family as they take on jobs that call for them to be in a home for long stretches of time. Though they’re careful not to be intrusive, respecting and allowing clients to maintain their desired level of privacy.
Scott isn’t only dealing with the lives of his client’s families, he also has his own. Scott has two young boys who share his passion for baseball and construction. His oldest son plays on a variety of little league and traveling baseball teams, also showing a vision for architecture. As for Scott’s younger boy, what he really enjoys is being around Dad.
Scott knows that clients continually use and refer S.L. Mario Construction because of the relationships that they’ve built and the quality of work that backs it up.
